There are not enough stars to tell you how valuable Misty was to me throughout the wedding planning process on and on the big day. She is more than a wedding planner, she is a kind soul that respects your vision, listens to your wishes, and brings the wedding event to life. Without Misty, I would have been lost on my wedding day. There are just so many things happening simultaneously and it would be very difficult for the bride alone to keep up. Therefore, I highly-highly- highly recommend that you hire a wedding planner (MISTY) to help coordinate so that you can enjoy your day and be stress-free.
Misty is was there to help every step of the way and constantly made sure that everything was running as planned. She is extremely organized and can transform an event space into a magical moment. She has great attention and gets all the credit for the end result.
I would say that Misty was the MVP of our wedding. By the end of the day, Misty felt like our family. My groom (husband) and both our families absolutely adored Misty as she has a calming presence and has a welcoming way about her. She was the point person who everyone was looking for on the wedding day. She was truly the reason I was able to completely relax and enjoy every moment of our wedding day to the fullest. I cannot recommend Misty enough. She was such a calming presence throughout the entire process and truly helped guide me through every step. After interviewing a handful of planners, I had a call with Misty and I just knew she was the one! Between planning my wedding from Dallas, COVID, and dealing with a difficult (but beautiful!) venue, I could not have done it without Misty. Knowing what I know now, I would have paid Misty double! Hiring Misty was the single best decision I made while planning my wedding. I immediately felt stress and weight lift off of me. Organized is an understatement for Misty. At any given time, she had everything under control; handled vendor communications, dealt with issues, thought of things I didn’t, sent me reminders, and was prepared for everything. I didn’t lift a finger on my wedding day (aside from some decorating) and I had the time of my life – I have Misty to thank for that! Simply put, my husband and I could not imagine planning our wedding without Misty by our side. Our single best choice in this entire process was hiring Misty to be our planner! She was always professional, quick to respond, had the best ideas of ways to save money/decorate/tips and tricks, and not to mention- she gracefully and easily got us through having to postpone and change our date because of the pandemic! During a time that would typically be extremely stressful, she took all of that off of our shoulders and took care of everything, from finding a new date with ALL of our original vendors, to getting new contracts and documents updated for us. I’m an Arkansas girl living in DC, with a background in event planning and logistics, so I knew finding a wedding planner who could handle my style would be near-impossible. In comes Misty – straight from handling St. Louis society weddings – kind yet direct, and always there to handle sticky situations, whether it be wedding contracts in the COVID environment or loose ends and concerned moms. She was present when I needed her and somehow under an invisible cloak otherwise – oh and she was WASHING DISHES at the end of the night to meet my location vendor’s needs. I can’t say enough. I was skeptical about how much I would use a wedding coordinator, but come from a DC event logistics background and knew I’d need someone to at least attempt to take care of our needs and pace. Misty FAR exceeded my HIGH expectations. This is the best way I can say it: if Misty was a chef or a hotel owner, I would not write a review because I would want to preserve my ability to get reservations before the word got out. SUCH a professional – she comes from the St. Louis bridal scene and has seen everything – but even was helping bus dishes at the end of the night! I don’t know where to start…. Misty is absolutely amazing!! If someone told me I could only hire ONE vendor for my wedding including photography, dj, and catering – it would be Misty. She handled everything at my wedding and made things run so smoothly even though we had to move the ceremony indoors last minute. She even helped serve food when the caterer told us they couldn’t stay and do it. Even before the wedding, she was contacting vendors and keeping everything on schedule for me. I was lucky enough to meet Misty at a bridal expo and I can not say enough good things about her. I had already booked all my vendors, so I sent their information to her and she took care of planning the entire wedding day. She attended our rehearsal and made sure that everyone was clear on the ceremony timeline. She also made sure that our ceremony was on time and that our guests were directed to the reception site afterwards. Our wedding day was completely perfect and went off without a hitch thanks to her! Misty Willinger Events coordinated our wedding last weekend [5.11.19] and we still can’t believe how smooth the day went. Misty made sure that we didn’t have a worry in the world that day! At first, we weren’t sure if we even needed a wedding coordinator, but we are so glad we booked Misty – we can’t imagine the planning and execution of the wedding without her.
She was there for us anytime we had questions or needed her during the planning process. Anytime we booked another wedding vendor, we just sent her their contact information and she took care of the rest.
She always made sure that we were happy and that everything we wanted in our wedding and reception was included. I could tell that she has a lot of experience with event planning because of her expertise and how organized she was, she thought of all the little details that we didn’t!
Leading up to the wedding everyone kept asking us why we were so calm – it was all Misty. She confirmed the times and places with each vendor, she even ran our whole wedding rehearsal for us, where she clearly explained to everyone in the bridal party where they would be and when (there were 12 of us total) and provided printed wedding day timelines to the entire bridal party and the parents so we didn’t have to worry about that.

Misty was an absolute charm to work with! For the entire planning process, she answered my endless, repetitive questions, was super easy to get a hold of (we live in Colorado so planned everything from out of state), and just really knew what she was doing.
